Bigfoot, as it is known in parts of the United States, is called Sasquatch in Canada, the Yeti or Abominable Snowman in Nepal, the Yeren in Asia, and the Yowie in Australia. Despite variations in name, Bigfoot sightings consistently describe an ape-like creature that is 6 to 9 feet tall, very hairy, extremely muscular, and uniquely foul smelling. Evidence of Bigfoot includes eyewitness sightings, footprint casts, photo and sound recordings, and hair and tissue samples. Proven hoaxes, self-reported pranksters and misidentification of deer, bear, elk, and even organgutans challenge the credibility of research. The design is fired into the clay at 2200°F, producing remarkable clarity and ceramic-hard durability that will not peel or wear off.
